IRD and ACC are calling ‘time’ on cheques

Inland Revenue and the Accident Compensation Corporation are calling ‘time’ on cheques.   From March next year, IR and ACC will no longer accept payments by cheque from customers who are able to use alternative payment options. GST On Low-Value Imported Goods

From 1 December 2019, overseas businesses selling low-value goods to consumers in NZ may need to register for, collect and return Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 15%. Payroll – Are you failing to make or pay deductions?

Employers must make deductions for PAYE, ESCT (employer superannuation contribution tax) formerly SSCWT, student loan repayments, child support and KiwiSaver contributions when required, from any payments made to employees.
