What do you need to know to run payroll correctly?
With screeds of legislation to understand and an innate need to get your payroll right, where do you go for training and support?
Employees are an organisations greatest asset and they are fundamental to the smooth running of a business. They are also the biggest expense, so we need to ensure that they get paid right and on time, and to do that we need to understand the multitude of rules around payroll, as well as our responsibilities as an employer.
We know how important it is to maintain the trust and confidence they have their employer. As New Zealand’s payroll legislation is one of the most complicated in the world, understanding the calculation of wages, allowances, payroll taxes and processing of the payroll is essential to running payroll correctly.
With a multitude of constant legislative changes, getting it right is not an easy task, but vital for peace of mind and happy employees. And, as an employer, you are responsible to ensure your employees are getting paid correctly, no matter who is processing your payroll, and this training will ease the worry over payroll and covers what you need to know.
Di Crawford-Errington is a Payroll Specialist and comes to you with 20 years’ experience in NZ payroll, is a NZPPA Certified Payroll Leader Level 5, is passionate about people, providing clarity for getting payroll right, and is your trainer for these courses.
