NZ is the test lab for the world

I have just spent the last few days at #Xerocon – The not to be missed conference for bookkeepers and accountants utilising the single ledger platform – WOW!
This is THE conference to be at for our industry. What a fabulous few days, hosted by our very own Te Radar. This is not a conference about learning how to use Xero, if you need to know anything Xero related, contact a Xero partner – ie us, and we can show you all the in’s and out’s of Xero and the Eco system.

Back to Xerocon – wow over 1000 attendees were enthralled by CEO Rod Drury kicking off with his keynote speech – this man has amazing vision and his ability to share this vision is second to none.

“We’re getting close to the end of the beginning – the platform evolution. We’ve done all the boring bits and now we’re getting to a point where we can start to do the exciting stuff. We’re moving from being an integrated accounting and payroll platform to very much a small business platform and delivering big data for small business.
New Zealand is still the test lab for the world and our market share in New Zealand, around 20 percent, is enabling us to work with Government and big business to benchmark against industry and unlock insights that can mitigate risk, enable capital investment and ultimately raise the game for small business in New Zealand.”
You can read all the highlights here.
Oh and a huge congratulations to all the winners of the Xero awards on the Friday night gala evening. I might just have to find time next year to put in an application myself…
